The explosively hilarious and inspirational stage play, "Good God A'Mighty!" takes a comical look into the African American church and imitates the ways and culture of church folk when a new, young, and good looking Paster (played by Wolverine Boots Actor/Model Carlos Jackson) arrives from New York City to face a Southern church in South Carolina that includes two old mothers who can't stop drooling over him.

Everyone is not as happy about the Pastor's arrival and they try to run him out of town!  This comedy-gospel play stars some of the funniest comedians from BET Comic View including "Just June" from Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America", Comedian-Dante Carter, Comedian-Actress Calandria Sanders, and Actress-Singer Trina Best, from the legendary O'Jays family.

Author's Commentary

Theater, the art of drama, is the most natural of the arts because it is alive - a living feeling continually present in time.  The live stage is the ultimate entertainment experience, especially when it inspires through laughter and uplifts the name of the Lord.

Theatrically, this production brings to the stage expressions of the Black Gospel experience from a cappella singing, to the Holy dance that is the identity of Black folks and remains unchanged through time.

The Production is accompanied by a live band made up of the most profound musicians in the world.  "Good God A'Mighty!" is filled with hysterical humor, mixed with a powerful message that will not only make your day but is an experience that will change your life.
